Hagolf

Hagolf for golf courses

Your course on every card your members play.

Member societies and an order of merit without the spreadsheet. Your crest and colours on every board and player card, on every phone and in every group chat, and a dashboard that shows you who played.

A contract for a year, its features and price worked out with you. Your members pay nothing, and only whoever sets a round up needs a code.

No code for players
The code is for whoever sets the society up. Everyone on the card gets your boards and the full player card, free.
Your look, everywhere
Your logo and colours on every sheet, and your web address in the corner in place of hagolf.app.
A live dashboard
Who played, when, and what they scored, on the web and on the phone.

What you get

The societies your members already play, in your colours.

Hagolf is the scoring app your members carry round the course. A contract puts your club on everything it makes from your rounds and societies.

Societies without spreadsheets

Set up the midweek Stableford, the winter series and the order of merit once. Every card handed in counts, and the table keeps itself.

Your look on every screen

Your crest and colours on every board and player card, on the phone and on the poster shared to the group chat afterwards.

A booking QR on every sheet

The corner reads your name or web address instead of hagolf.app. From Clubhouse up, a QR code on every sheet goes to your booking page.

The clubhouse wall

Every board is drawn at poster size. On Signature we print the order of merit in A2 each quarter, for the wall by the bar.

A dashboard of who played

Who played, when, on which course and what they scored, while they play and after. On the web and on the phone, in the same app.

Codes that keep count

Each contract has a set number of seats. A code passed round the bar stops working once they are taken.

What it looks like

Heron’s Reach on the board, not Hagolf.

A society table and a full player card from a members’ Sunday, drawn by the app in the club’s own colours, with its crest on top and its name in the corner.

The Stableford leaderboard of a Sunday at Heron’s Reach, in the club’s own colours: its crest at the top right, a booking line and a QR code at the foot, its web address in the corner.
The society table, with the club’s crest, its colours and its line above the title.
A member’s full player card from the same Sunday at Heron’s Reach, in the club’s colours, with its crest and booking line along the foot.
A member’s full player card from the same Sunday, as it lands in the group chat.

Heron’s Reach Golf Club is a made-up example, and so are its members.

Contracts

Three contracts. Pick the one your season needs.

Every contract puts your look on every board and card made from your rounds and societies, and every golfer on those cards gets them free. What changes is how far it goes and how many people hold a code.

Every feature and every price is open to talk about. Talk to me about what you need, and we work out the contract together.

Contracts run for a year and prices exclude VAT (BTW). Golfers on your cards never pay. For comparison, the free app reads 10 paper cards a month per golfer, and the shop’s Everything pass 20.

How it works

Four steps, and we set up the first society with you.

  1. We agree a contract.Pick the one that fits your club, and we put it in writing for a year.
  2. You send your logo and colours. We set up your template and your first society, so the very first board already looks like the club.
  3. You hand out the code.To the competition secretary, the pro shop, a captain: whoever sets a society or a round up. Nobody else needs one.
  4. Members play, you watch the dashboard.Every card handed in lands in the table and on your dashboard as it is played, and the boards go round the group chat with your name on them.

Privacy

Your members’ rounds stay theirs.

Your dashboard shows the rounds and societies set up with your codes, and nothing else a member plays. Any golfer can tell the app not to show their rounds to your club, and from then on they are left out of your dashboard and its exports; they still play, and still get their cards. Hagolf shows no ads, runs no tracking and sells nothing to anybody, which is a promise you can pass on to your members. The whole of it is in the privacy policy.

Questions

What courses ask before they sign.

Do members have to pay, or install anything?

No. Hagolf is free to play: members open app.hagolf.app on their phone and one button puts it on the home screen. One phone in each group keeps the card, so not everybody even needs it. Anyone who wants their own player card later can sign in and claim it.

Who needs the code?

Whoever sets a round or a society up: the competition secretary, the pro, a captain. Everybody on that card gets the boards in your colours and the full player card, free, without one.

What is a seat?

A golfer holding one of your codes. They set rounds and societies up in your look, and get what your contract gives code holders. The players on their cards do not take a seat.

What if a code gets passed around?

Each contract has a set number of seats, and of codes active at once. A code shared further than you meant stops working once the seats are taken.

Can members still play on paper cards?

Yes. The app reads a paper scorecard from a photo taken with the phone. Scanning has a monthly limit per golfer, 10 on the free app, and a contract raises it to 15, 25 or 30 for everyone holding your code.

Is it an official result, or an official handicap?

No. Hagolf is not affiliated with any golf federation, and its handicap strokes, net scores and points are worked out carefully but are not official. It is for the societies, the order of merit and the social golf around your competitions, not a replacement for your competition and handicap system.

What happens when the contract ends?

The rounds stay with the members who played them, and new boards go back to the Hagolf look. Nothing anybody scored is lost.

How is it paid?

A contract runs for a year and is invoiced in euros. Prices are agreed per contract and exclude VAT (BTW).
